About Us

About the Brand

SedCAz is an evolving modern, all-encompassing fashion brand that specializes in bespoke, luxury- tailored, and ready-to-wear fashion for all. Our brand blends minimalist sophistication, edgy elegance, and romantic detailing with Afrocentric influences to create garments that are as expressive as they are timeless. Other times we love to keep things simple!
Born from the success of SedBridals—a bridal and event fashion label established in 2019—SedCAz emerged in 2024 as a broader fashion identity. This rebrand marked our evolution into a full-scale design house, crafting everything from wedding dresses and groomswear to Afrocentric outfits, accessories, urban-styled and creative ready-to-wear collections.
The founder of SedCAz has always been involved in fashion as far back as 2010 through involvement with her university theatre art; music, dance and drama groups (and local community performers too) as a costume creator and designer for various artists during and while on set and performing, also engaged in making props for the set and shows. She has gone on to being a stylist for a couple of musical artists and comedians during her undergraduate years and consistently built relationships, engaged and collaborated with many brands aiding the growth of her craftmanship and expansion of her business.
In 2010, training and interest in styling grew. The need to understand the intricate details of putting clothes together and stitching and sewing for a costume grew learning sew techniques, sketching, forming silhouettes and design a whole piece were sought after and achieved.
